In 2013 JSC and JDC Examination, 1,902,746 students sat for the examinations. Among these Students 1,587,313 from schools and 315,433 from Madrasas Background appeared for the JSC and JDC examinations from 27,748 institutions of Bangladesh.
Compared to the JSC and JDC total examinee of 2012, this year it is decreased by 5,619. In 2012 it was 1,908,365. Among the total JSC and JDC examinees 895,091are boys and 1,007,655 are girls. In 2013, the number of female students is 112,564 more than male Candidates.
